You can attachment documents and pictures to either;

  • A Vehicle
  • A Customer

When you are in a document you will see this sign -  underneath the vehicle section or the customer section. Select the one you need as to whether you want the information stored under the vehicle or customer details.

You will then have a new window shown, select the - New Attachment(s) button. Then locate the file you require.

The attachment is now saved and linked to the vehicle/customer. 

When an attachment has been added to a vehicle/customer record, the attachment image changes colour to Blue.


Removing Attachments


It is suggested that you keep your attachments up to date and remove old ones every now and again. It is simple to remove old attachments simply go to Admin > General > Attachments Browser.

Alternatively, if you have added an attachment to a document by mistake you can remove directly from the document screen by following the instructions to adding an attachment and clicking the X.

Attachments are listed with the origin and size of each one. You can view all or select the size in order to keep the file size down in the backup data. 

To remove an attachment you can simply click the X next to the corresponding attachment you wish to remove or delete all in view (Top right).

When backups are performed, your attachment file is only backed up to the default location. Only 1 copy of this file is retained locally on your machine.hese are stored with your data backups, however, they are only stored.

The reason for this behavior is that the attachments backup could potentially become extremely large in size, depending on the size and quantity of the files being stored.
